Cadets

We are gearing up for another year of Cadets, and invite boys ages 7 to 14 to join us at the church every other Wednesday, starting on September 30, from 7:00 to 9:00pm. This year's theme is "Hooked on Christ". Registration fee is $30/yr. If you have any questions, please contact Matt Sutton at (403) 393-2557.

  GEMS

Is a community club program especially for girls grades 2-7, which means Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour (GEMS).  GEMS seeks to equip women and girls to live radically faithful lives – doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God (Micah 6:8).  We study the Bible, play games, do crafts, sing and build friendships through regular meetings and extra events.  GEMS meets every other Thursday evening at 6:30pm from September until April at the Evangelical Free Church in Picture Butte.

  Catechism

Catechism classes are typically held for grades 7-12, and teach the beliefs of the Christian Reformed Church, based on the Holy Bible. Not only is the catechism studied, but how youth should respond to different situations in life. Teachers are volunteers from the church, with the Grade 12 class being taught by the pastor.

All of the materials we use come from Faith Alive Resources. Catechism classes are held on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 – 8:30 and run for two 12 week sessions.  The first session starts in September and the second session starts in January.
